What is 631 Call Me?

You don’t have to have the right words.

Sometimes you know exactly what you need to say. Sometimes you don’t. Maybe you had a great day and want to share it. Maybe something happened and you need to get it off your chest.

You can call. This is a free listening service, not therapy or a formal mediation session. There’s no cost and no obligation to pursue another service.

Call 631-614-2174

  • You’re dealing with conflict at home or in a relationship.
  • You’re navigating a family or co-parenting situation.
  • You’re frustrated and want to organize your thoughts.
  • You don’t know what your next step should be.
  • You simply want a little encouragement.

You don’t have to wait until things are falling apart to reach out.

A judgment-free conversation.

No judgment. No pretending. No pressure to fix everything today.

Simple from the start

What happens when you call?

01

You call.

Call 631-614-2174.

02

We talk.

Tell me what’s going on. You don’t need a script.

03

You decide.

You can simply have the conversation and leave it there.

If your situation would benefit from structured mediation, I’ll let you know—and it’s completely your choice.

Good news is welcome, too

Not every call has to be about a problem.

Did you get a new job? Accomplish something you’ve been working toward? Have a small win worth sharing? Call and tell me about it.

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to talk.

Open to anyone, anywhere in the United States. You don’t need to live in Suffolk County, have a conflict, or know exactly what you need.

An option, never an obligation

Sometimes a conversation reveals another option.

If you’re experiencing an ongoing conflict, communication breakdown, or family disagreement, structured mediation may help. If it seems appropriate, I can explain how it works. You decide whether to pursue it.

Good to know before calling

A few important boundaries.

Is it private?

We respect your privacy, but cannot promise absolute confidentiality. If a child or vulnerable adult is being harmed, or someone is in danger, we may be legally or ethically required to report it. Brief notes may be taken for follow-up; personal information is not shared outside our team without consent except where required by law.

Is this counseling or mediation?

No. This is a free listening service, not therapy, counseling, medical or legal advice, or a formal mediation session. No attorney-client or mediator-client privilege applies. We cannot guarantee a particular outcome.

What if I need urgent help?

631 Call Me is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988. Minors in crisis should also contact a trusted adult; the Crisis Text Line is available by texting HOME to 741741.

When can I call?

Call 631-614-2174. The listening line’s stated hours are Monday–Sunday, 6:00 p.m.–midnight Eastern Time. There is no charge for the listening service.
