The Name Behind the Bridge
La Roc Mediation carries my maiden name, Laroche — which means “the rock” in French. It’s the foundation this business is built on: steady ground for people to stand on when everything around them feels uncertain.
The bridge in our logo reflects that same idea — mediation isn’t about choosing sides, it’s about building a path from conflict to resolution, together.
“
A calmer, more structured space to actually hear each other.
My Path Here
Structure, patience, and respect.
My background spans behavioral health, criminal justice, and now dispute resolution — three fields that, on the surface, look different, but all come down to the same thing: helping people navigate hard moments with structure, patience, and respect.
I’ve worked directly in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), spent time in the criminal justice field, and I’m currently completing my MBA with a Law Enforcement Executive concentration. That combination shapes how I approach mediation — grounded in both the emotional realities people are facing and the practical, structured process needed to move through them.
I offer mediation, notary, and loan signing services across Long Island and NYC. My approach is honest screening, structured sessions, and clear next steps — without pressure or judgment.

Why I Do This Work
I believe in a better world with better people — and I believe most conflict isn’t about people being fundamentally opposed, it’s about people needing a calmer, more structured space to actually hear each other.
I built La Roc Mediation because I wanted to be part of creating that space: one where you’re not just processed through a system, but guided through it by someone who genuinely cares about the outcome for everyone involved.
Beyond the Practice
I also run a free community listening line — a space for people to be heard with no cost and no clinical framing attached — because part of what I believe in is showing up for people even outside formal mediation.
The LaRoc Mediation Process brings structure to difficult conversations while leaving decisions with the people involved.

What to expect
A structured, respectful environment.
Everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to participate in shaping the resolution. Sessions are paced so no one feels rushed, and ground rules keep the conversation balanced even when the subject is hard.
Mediation is not legal representation and does not guarantee an outcome. If mediation is not the right fit for your situation, I will say so honestly during intake.
My Philosophy
Respected. Heard. Empowered.
No one should feel shame, judgment, or uncertainty here. Conflict is part of being human — what people need in the middle of it is not a verdict, but a room where they can speak honestly and see a way forward.
I am neutral by design. I do not take sides, I do not represent either participant, and I do not decide who is right or wrong. What I do is keep the process fair, help each person be understood, and help everyone move from positions to interests — the real concerns underneath the disagreement.
Mediation is voluntary, and that matters. Because participants build their own agreement, they tend to understand it, own it, and follow through on it. The goal is not merely to end a dispute, but to leave people with something practical and livable.
